I’m delighted to share this wonderful family on the blog today. A few weeks ago, I spent the morning shooting baby Miles’s newborn portraits in their beautiful home in Homewood. The first thing they showed me was dad’s bassinet that has been in his family for generations. What a special heirloom to be able to include in their portraits and I’m so happy we were able to get multiple shots with the bassinet. Can you see Miles’s little bunnies on his outfit? And look at that nursery with the light spilling in! We spent most of our time in the nursery, but also took some time outside on the front porch. While baby Miles took at milk break, big brother played ball with his dad in the front yard. If the weather is just right, portraits outside for a few minutes with the baby are always stunning. There’s a romantic, ethereal atmosphere that’s especially flattering on all new mamas.
